في السنة العاشرة من الهجرة خرج الرسول(ص)للحج وألقي علي المسلمين خطبتة المشهيرة بخطبة الوداع علي جبل عرفات ، عاد الرسول(ص) إلي المدينة واشتد علية المرض فانتقل إلي جوار ربه في السنة الحادية عشرة للهجرة.
